Bio

I am elated to be a new addition to the David T. Howard Middle School Ram’s family. I have 23 years of teaching experience in middle and elementary school settings. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Middle Grades Education from Fort Valley State University and a master’s degree in Middle Grades Education from Brenau University. I am pursuing my doctoral degree in Educational Management at Hampton University. I have taught in various countries, including the United Arab Emirates, the Republic of China, and Germany. In 2008 I was honored with the Teacher of the Year award at Stone Mountain Middle School in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Additionally, I was nominated for the District Teacher of the Year for Europe East in Bavaria, Germany in 2023.
